About the Founder
Jacqueline has always had a deep appreciation for food—how it’s grown, how it brings people together, and how it can open up conversations about a region’s culture and history. With a background in social anthropology, Jacqueline studied the importance of food and cultural norms revolving around gathering, eating, and the ritualistic and symbolic acts that accompany these practices.
Now living in Mexico City, Jacqueline has combined her love for food, culture, and design to create Esas Mesas. With this brand, she set out to allow every table setting to become an opportunity to create a little piece of home.
