Casa Viviana Candle with Wax Floral Band
Casa Viviana Candle with Wax Floral Band
Couldn't load pickup availability
Made by Casa Viviana—a small, women-led workshop in Teotitlán del Valle, Oaxaca—this candle is a reflection of generations of craftsmanship. Each piece is hand-poured using pure beeswax and finished with a sculpted floral band created by pressing warm wax into petal shapes, one by one.
These candles are traditionally used in weddings, religious ceremonies, and offerings throughout the region, where they symbolize protection, abundance, and continuity. The floral detailing is a signature of Doña Viviana Alávez’s work, inspired by the flowers found on Zapotec altars.
No artificial dyes or perfumes are used—just raw beeswax, a cotton wick, and local tradition. This candle is a beautiful addition to a set table or can stand on its own as decor.
